Designed to offer Maximum Performance and Maximum Value with great design and performance unrivalled by any other brand.
The design will appeal to those riders who like a full open lens design with added lens coverage.
At only 26g and soft nose and temple ends, the Tornado will be locked in place and allow clear vision on the road or trail whatever the conditions.
The important curvature of the lens follows that of the eyeball. Without this your eyes are working to correct the light that distorts as it passes through the lens, which can strain your eyes (known as a de-centered lens). If you buy sunglasses without this feature, or of poor quality, it will create a distorted image and could cause headaches or sickness.
The flexible frame and nosepiece are key to getting the correct fit - especially if you have a broad or narrow nose. The rubberised grips on the nose and frame keep the glasses in place - gripping even when you sweat to stop them slipping off.

Also, it may be obvious to some people, but in the picture they looked like a very dark grey to me. In reality, they are a much lighter gray/silver color. Not a deal killer, but does not match my dark gray helmet or white bicycle (yeah, who cares...)
I like the interchangeable lenses for night riding, but again the frame seems flimsy enough I'm afraid to swap them out regularly. The VeloChampion water bottle cage I got was similarly disappointing, so I may steer clear in the future.
What they are good for is if you need the clear lens for cycling at night. They are very cost-friendly for that usage. But one star because they are useless to me in bright conditions.
There are glasses about $5 to $10 more dollars with polarized lenses and more care given to the eye protection. I take that back. I just paid about the same price for a pair of polarized sport sunglasses, albeit not with interchangeable lenses, just with the dark one.
You get what you pay for with these shades. They are noticeably cheap and flimsy. They're ugly. The lenses scratch easily. It takes some time to learn the trick of switch lenses - it's easy to *think* you've put the lens in properly, but then they pop out.
That said, I'm very happy with this purchase. Their cheapness is what makes them great. They keep the wind and sun out of my eyes and I feel no obligation to protect them in any way. I'm hard on my equipment and I'm frankly shocked I got as much use as I did out of them. I assume this next pair will get lost or sat on at some point, and I don't care. Their so easy and cheap to replace I can just keep buying more.
